User Experience Designer / Flex Ninja
We are looking for a world class user experience / interface designer to help take our team to the next level.Our goal is to set the standard for highly usable, cleanly designed geospatial data visualization applications - if this is what makes you tick, we need to talk.
We love what Stamen Design (www.stamen.com) is doing in re-defining geospatial data exploration. We need you to help us build these type of experiences. In addition to great interface and user experience design experience, we expect strong Illustrator, Photoshop and Flex skills. HTML and Javascript kung-fu greatly appreciated.
As for us, we are a fast growing team of geospatial software experts. We work in a very open, collaborative manner, using scrum and agile practices to ensure we deliver kick ass products to our clients.
On the UI tier, we're mainly focused on web applications using Flex, jQuery, Dojo, and Silverlight. We do dabble in desktop apps, so there will be some Windows Forms and WPF from time to time. To be clear, we'll handle the implementation of the maps and back-end shinanigans - we need you to help ensure that the apps are exceptional from a design and usability standpoint.
