For additional information, please visit Digitaria.We are currently seeking a Freelance Jr. Web Designer who will be expected to handle all day-to-day design production of Web Sites. The Jr. Web Designer should have a mastery of the tools involved in developing the interactive medium (Photoshop). He/she must have excellent communication skills and be a great team player. The Designer should be able to handle the most day-to-day interactions with existing projects without needing monitoring.

Responsibilities:
• Produce all necessary design elements, assets, templates, pages, graphics, etc… based on established design direction, systems and Style Guide
• Collaborate with Senior Web Designer(s) and or Interactive Art Director(s) and Creative Director(s) to ensure designs are inline with overall creative direction and standards
• Ensure Style Guide is implemented and followed throughout the project
• Ensure design consistency and quality
• Implement design feedback and revisions
Requirements:
• Fluency in Mac or PC platforms
• Must have a portfolio
• Be ready to design web pages, banners and e-mails, utilizing the existing brand assets.
• Efficient in production work, whether it be pathing, touch-ups or color corrections.
• Familiarity of browsers and design constraints on the web
• Fluency with the latest Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent understanding of design principals (typography, color, layout, etc…)
• Works well under pressure
• Understands that meeting deadlines is crucial

Digitaria will provide hourly compensation rate is negotiable. This is an in-house freelance position and candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to San Diego. Non-web designers need not apply.
