Job Description:
Electric Artists is looking for a junior interactive designer to round
out our dynamic and forward thinking team of strategists and
marketers, who is able to translate communication into rich,
engaging visual design. We are looking for someone who is adept
in designing with contemporary web standards/best practices, has
an instinct for visual architecture in presentation design, and isn’t
intimidated to roll up their sleeves to dig into HTML/CSS mark-up.

The idea candidate will have:
• A strong design background with 2+ years of experience
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design skills on the web and clear
visual thinking in presenting information (online portfolio required).
• Excellent Verbal and Written Skills
• Is self-directed, but also works well in team settings.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Familiarity with contemporary user interface paradigms.
• An understanding of the social web and RIA Platforms.
• Basic experience with video encoding and flash production.

Proficient with the following:
• Adobe Creative Suite
• PowerPoint
• HTML / CSS
• Web Optimization

Education Required:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine arts degree with coursework in
graphic design or equivalent experience.
